You may be wondering what is that weird message following my previous post. I discovered the ability to email posts right to the blog from work. The power allows me to post from my desk at work while I wait for a call. However, my job is such that they add that message to the bottom of every email. Every company within the finance industry must take every precaution to protect the information it holds. I am not sure how effective it is but it the thought that counts.
Presently, I am sitting at the coffee bar in Serenity Cafe (Anna's job). I can talk to the girls when they arent brewing coffee, assembling customer's orders, or making sandwiches. The coffee shop is housed in an old victorian house which lends itself to an interesting feel. The bar is hidden in the back of the house with seating areas spread out across the rest of the downstairs. The problem with the arrangement is that there is no real flow to things and the area near the bar can become rather crowded. I guess they have to make due with what they have.
The fourth of July has come and with it, a fireworks tent on every corner. Unfortunately, the state feels necessary to protect us from ourselves. I should have the right to blow my hand off if I so chose. It may improve society as a whole because you know by the missing hand that you should be very careful with these people. Basically, it’s the equivalent to a sign which reads.."stupid person....handle with care". Have a great Fourth of July and enjoy the illegal fireworks as much as possible.
